Introduction:- SilibaseWR-0777 Silicone Waterproof Agent is a water-dilutable solution of Silicone Waterproof Agent (Potassium siliconate) developed to impart water repellency to a wide variety of natural stone and masonry surfaces. The siliconate reacts with carbon dioxide in the air to form an insoluble repellent surface and reduce water absorption within 24 hours.
- It is suitable for the surface of natural stone, like sandstone, limestone, and red brick, gray brick, granite, ceramics etc.; it is not suitable for polished or glazed surfaces.
- PMS is an aqueous solution of potassium methyl siliconate and is used in diluted form from the hydrophobic impregnation of mineral construction materials to make them water-repellent.
- SILIBASE PMS develops its water-repellent properties by reaction with atmospheric carbo dioxide (CO2). The active substance formed from the silicone masonry water repellent is polymethyl silicic acid. As with all siliconates, however, SilibaseWR-0777 PMS CAN CAUSE A WHITE DEPOSIT ON THE SURFACE OF COLORED CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, OR IF USED OUTSIDE THE APPLICATION GUIDELINES.
Application:- SilibaseWR-0777 Silicone Waterproof Agent is supplied concentration of 42 percent in water; SilibaseWR-0777 Silicone Waterproof Agent is usually diluted to a concentration of 3 percent solids or less before application. To prepare a 3 percent solution, mix one-liter SilibaseWR-0777 Silicone Waterproof Agent as supplied, with 13 liters of water.
- Application should be avoided on extremely windy days to avoid rapid evaporation of the water carrier.

- In the unopened original container SilibaseWR-0777 Silicone Waterproof Agent has a shelf life of one year in a dry and cool place.
